FAQs
What is the difference between Building coverage and Home Contents coverage?
Building coverage, also known as Landlord insurance, protects the house or flat within a condo, including the construction and all permanently attached fixtures, such as balconies. Home Contents coverage, or Rental insurance, is designed for tenants and provides protection against damage to their personal belongings, such as furniture, home appliances, and personal items. It is important to note that Home Contents coverage doesn’t cover the entire building or flat but solely focuses on the home contents. If you are a homeowner seeking to financially protect your property and belongings, you may consider comprehensive house insurance, which covers both the building and its contents.
