Since it’s almost impossible to estimate the risks for old cars, QIC provides comprehensive insurance policies only for cars not older than 15 years. For older cars, you can still buy our TPL car insurance package. Specialty, vintage, or antique cars may be exceptions but typically require an in-person consultation for risk assessment. You can also add a roadside assistance extra cover.

At the time being short term insurance services are not available in Qatar. This includes one day insurance, one week insurance, one month insurance, and pay per mile insurance.

The policy excess (also known as deductible) is the fixed amount of money that you have to pay for each and every claim you may have. The policy excess is there to offer you a cheaper overall premium for your car insurance.

If you have full coverage and total your car, we will pay you a compensation equivalent to the market value of your car at the time of the accident.
