What does QIC App offer

Keep your car information in one place

The My Cars section is all about the vehicles you own. You can add your cars manually or by chassis number, and have an overview of your vehicles and their specifications, including the estimated price, mileage, and whether you need to renew the car’s insurance policy.

This helps you stay on top of insurance renewal, monitor mileage, and even get a price estimation if you ever want to sell it. 

Speaking of selling your car, this option is available for free within the app. You can upload more photos of your vehicle and even utilize the AI moderation tool for pictures (you’ll automatically know if the photos you upload meet the guidelines).

Purchase a new ride

The QIC App Market, located in the Drive section, is the star of the app. It contains over 1,000 vehicles for sale, so you’ll for sure find your favorite model there.

You can filter vehicle options by year, usage, mileage, price, and drive type. 

And, if you first want to rent a ride for a while before you commit, you’ll find car rental options in the Drive section as well. 

Buy insurance in 2 minutes

Need to renew car insurance or protect home contents quickly? You can do that in a few taps. The Insurance section of the app provides a 360-degree overview of all coverage types. 

Aside from home and car insurance, you can purchase:

• Personal accident insurance 
• Boat and yacht insurance
• Business insurance 
• Golf insurance

Schedule a wash

In case your car needs washing, you don’t need to spend hours researching quality providers and scheduling the service.

Simply go to Car care in the main section of the app, choose Car wash, and you’ll get a list of reliable washes. You can even set up an appointment right in the app. 

And, from next week, you’ll be able to pay for your service directly from the app. 

Find your next place to eat

The City contains all non-car-related stuff you’d need when living in Qatar. In the Blog, you’ll get the best recommendations on where to eat and what to visit. 

In addition, you’ll find info on visas, Istimara, Fahes, and other residence processes that can be difficult to navigate. 

Check a used car before buying

If you’re in the process of buying or selling a vehicle, you’ll want to check out the Car history and the Car price checker. In Car history, you can get all the info about a car, its mileage, and potential insurance costs by simply inputting its chassis number. 

A Car price checker feature estimates the cost of a vehicle based on its chassis number, helping you get the best deal.

Find discounts 

Looking for a discount on a sightseeing bus or a coupon for Qatar waterparks? You’ll find the best deals for your next great adventure in QIC App Events. 

For instance, you can book a Dhow cruise for just QAR 110, horse riding from QAR 120, or get your adrenaline pumping with an ATV quad bike ride for just QAR 250. 

Set a prayer reminder

You don't need another app for daily Salah timings — you can check the time for every prayer right in the app. You even have the option to set a reminder for a specific prayer or for all of them. 

Earn rewards

You’ll notice this colorful coin sign next to your profile name and certain services. These are QIC App coins — a special loyalty program for registered QIC users.

You collect the coins by signing up for services, purchasing insurance, and spinning the Wheel of Fortune. 

For example, renewing your car insurance brings you 3,500 coins, getting your vehicle detailed gets you 2,000 coins, and giving feedback comes with 500 coins. Once you collect enough of them, you can redeem them for rewards such as a free car wash, an iPhone, speakers, and tour discounts.

Let’s say you want to get a windshield sunshade, valued at 8,000 coins. If you renew your car insurance, give feedback, and schedule a wash and detailing, you’ll get the sunshade for free!
