Hamad International Airport Parking: Zones and Fees

All about parking zones, locations, fees, and premium options for longer stays at HIA.

HIA parking

All about parking zones, locations, fees, and premium options for longer stays at HIA.

Hamad Airport public parking has three parking zones, with each one accommodating 3,325 vehicles at a time. The parking zones are:

  • East car park

  • West car park

  • Car park C (between)

HIA parking zones

Each parking zone has its respective entry and exit lanes for seamless mobility around the airport. There is also a dedicated taxi pavilion for quick pick-ups and drop-offs.

Bear in mind that the West car park zone has reserved parking spaces for government vehicles, and passengers aren’t allowed to park in those spots.

Short-term parking

The short-term parking area is located near the passenger arrival and departure terminals.

Drop-offs for up to 30 minutes are free, and after that, you’ll be charged QAR 15 per hour. A full day of parking is QAR 145.

Long-term parking

For car parking longer than 24 hours, the long-term Hamad Airport parking fees apply:

Duration

Fee

1–3 days

QAR 250 total

4–7 days

QAR 350 total

8–14 days

QAR 450 total

Shuttle bus services are available to transport customers between terminals and the parking area. The shuttle service is available 24/7 for commuting between the two points. You can make reservations in advance to get up to a 20% discount on fees.

Premium parking

With premium parking, passengers have access to spots that are closest to the terminals. This option is only offered to Qatar Airways passengers.

The cost of premium parking at Hamad International Airport is:

  • QAR 30 for the first hour

  • QAR 20 for the second hour

  • QAR 10 for the third hour

  • QAR 200 daily (for stays longer than three hours)

Therefore, if you stay for three hours at a premium parking spot, you’ll pay a total of QAR 60: QAR 30 (first hour) + QAR 20 (second hour) + QAR 10 (third hour).

Valet parking

If you don’t want to bother with searching for a parking spot or carrying your bags to the airport, you can opt for a valet service. The valet pickup is at the departures curb near Gate 1 and the arrivals lane across from Gate 2.

Once you arrive, a valet will take your car keys and assist you with carrying the bags to the airport. After you’re back from the trip, a valet will wait with your car at the same pick-up location unless you requested a different one during your booking. An external car wash is included in the price.

This kind of service is available at a higher price point:

Duration

Fee

Up to two hours

QAR 100

24 hours

QAR 275

Two-day weekend parking

QAR 450
