Lounges at Hamad International Airport grant access to luxury amenities, family-friendly spaces, and private business suites. Here is a preview of the popular HIA lounges for a perfect stopover in Doha.

Al Safwa First Lounge

Al Safwa First Lounge

Al Safwa is an exclusive lounge designated only for Qatar Airways and Oneworld First Class customers, as well as Privilege Club Platinum members traveling business class. This means that access can’t be purchased and is part of the airplane ticket. 

The lounge is situated on the third level of the Duty Free South Plaza at Hamad Airport, and its design is inspired by the Museum of Islamic Art, meaning it combines modern and cultural elements. It has a duty-free shopping area inside, a dedicated SPA with jacuzzis and a private relaxation room, as well as immediate access to immigration and security desks.

The Al Maha lounges are available in two different locations: Al Maha Airside is immediately after the Immigration desks, while Al Maha Departure is on Level 2 of HIA Departures Hall, just before the security desk.

In both lounges, you can enjoy light refreshments, shower facilities, family rooms, and complimentary Wi-Fi. There is also a quiet room for relaxation or prayer, and conference rooms for business travelers. 

Access to this lounge costs QAR 200 per passenger, and is free for children under eleven with accompanying adults.

Oryx Lounges

Oryx lounges are available at two locations: Oryx South, located near the famous HIA teddy bear on Level 2 of Duty Free Plaza South, and Oryx North, which is on the second level of Duty Free Plaza North. 

Booking and management of Oryx Lounges is by Al Maha Services. Both have gaming rooms, fully equipped business rooms, private family rooms, shower facilities, locker rooms, and offer buffets and free W-iFi access. Pricing starts from QAR 200 per passenger. 

Mariner Lounge

Mariner Lounge

The Mariner Lounge is dedicated to seafarers and offshore workers catching flights to global destinations. It is located on the second level of the Duty Free Plaza South and has easy access to the gates. 

The lounge offers a selection of international menus, complimentary fresh juices and soft drinks, free Wi-Fi, and private workstations with printing equipment. Lounge prices are included in the flight tickets for the selected group of travelers.

To access the lounge, passengers are required to produce their Seaman Books, a Continuous Discharge Certificate (CDC), or a letter of guarantee from a recognized offshore employer or agent. 

Al Mourjan Business Lounge South

The Al Mourjan Business Lounge offers a resort-inspired experience for Qatar Airways customers. It is a stylish space with marble interiors featuring hand-crafted Arabic calligraphy, located on Level 3 of the Duty Free South Zone. This area has conference rooms, private workstations, family rooms, a games section, and a children's nursery. 

The lounge is free for Oneworld and Qatar Airways first and business class passengers. Others can purchase access online for around QAR 450. 

Al Mourjan Garden Business Lounge

Al Mourjan Garden Business Lounge

An expansive area for premium Qatar Airways travelers, Al Mourjan Garden Business Lounge, overlooks the Orchard. It’s the perfect relaxation space for business, family, and leisure travelers. Guests have access to a SPA, dedicated quiet rooms, fitness studios, and a front-row seat and view of the garden.

The lounge is free for first and business-class ticket holders. Other customers can inquire about space availability and pay at check-in, online, at sales desks, and in the lounge. A ticket starts from QAR 450.

Unaccompanied Minors Lounge

Located in Concourse C, this lounge is created for children aged 2–12 traveling without supervision

Trained airline workers accompany guests to and from the lounge, where the kids can relax and play as their transfers and boarding passes are handled for them. The lounge has child-friendly washrooms, TVs, snacks, as well as plenty of toys, video, and board games. Access is free. 

The Muzn Lounge

Muzn Lounge

The Muzn Lounge caters to autistic and special needs children and is located between gates C7 and C9. It’s equipped with stimulants and can be used by children aged 2–12 for up to two hours. 

The lounge is free. To access it, enter the code “DPNA” when you’re booking your flight or during check-ins, and a staff member will guide you and your child to the lounge. 

Platinum, Gold, and Silver lounges

Platinum, Gold, and Silver lounges

These are less luxurious lounges for passengers flying economy on Qatar Airways and have Platinum, Gold, or Silver passenger status. Their pricing starts from QAR 300.

They are located throughout the airport: Platinum and Gold South lounges are on Level 1, near Gate A1, and North areas are on Level 2, near Gate C14. The Silver Lounge is part of Concourse B. 

Amenities include Wi-Fi, showers, children's playing areas, nurseries, conference rooms, and large dining spaces.
