Apply for a family visit visa via Metrash

Simply log in and:

1. Go to the Visa section.

2. Tap on Request Application.

3. Choose Family Visit Visa.

4. Fill out the required information, pay fees, and submit the application. 

After submitting your application, you will need to wait for the immigration authorities to process your request. The processing time can vary, so it's advisable to initiate the application well in advance of your family's intended visit.

Apply for a family visa via the MOI website

Go to the E-services section of the MOI website. Then:

1. Choose Recruitment and Visa. 

2. Tap on Family Visit Application.

3. Fill out your information.

Once your family visit visa is approved, you will receive an entry visa for your family members. The visa will specify the duration of their stay in Qatar. Ensure that your family members are aware of the visa's expiration date and other relevant details. 

Upon your family members' arrival at Hamad International Airport, they will need to go through the immigration process at the airport. Make sure they have all the required documents, including their visa and their passport, a return flight ticket, and health insurance for Qatar. Airport immigration officers will verify their entry into the country.

In case you wish to extend your family members' stay in Qatar, you can apply for a visa extension through the Metrash app, MOI, or the immigration department before the original visa expires. Be sure to provide a valid reason for the extension.

If your family members exceed the duration of their visit as specified on their visa, they may face penalties and legal issues. Overstaying can lead to fines, deportation, and even a ban on future visits. A fine is QAR 200 for each day without a visa.
