Turkey Visa From Qatar

Find out whether you’re eligible for a Turkey eVisa and use the visa checklist to gather the necessary documents.

Whether you want to go on your first hot air balloon flight, explore the wonders of Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, or begin a semester abroad, Turkey is a great choice.  While Qatari citizens don’t need a visa for short stays, most Qatari residents do, and the process is either in-person via the Mosaic platform or online via the eVisa site. Here’s everything you need to know about applying for a Turkey visa from Qatar.

Who needs a visa for Turkey?

Qatari citizens don’t need a Turkish visa for stays of up to 90 days within a 6-month period. On the other hand, residents without Qatari citizenship may need it, depending on their nationality.

There are two visa tracks: the regular, sticker visa, for which you apply in person, and an eVisa that is fully online. Not all nationalities are eligible for an eVisa — you can find a full list on the official website.

Furthermore, some nationalities, like Indians, Pakistanis, and Filipinos, generally have to apply for a regular visa but are eligible for an eVisa if they already possess visas or residence permits for the US, UK, Schengen countries, or Ireland.

Turkey visa checklist

Here are some of the documents required for the regular tourist visa for Turkey. You may be asked to provide additional docs, such as employment proof or payment slips.
