While a little further than most of the other staycation options, the drive is well worth it. Al Messila is a hidden gem within the city. Its arching palm trees and opulent buildings offer an oasis from urban life. The resort features a stunning outdoor pool surrounded by shaded cabanas, an indoor pool with a glass ceiling, and a children's pool. Moreover, the resort's unique spa offers a range of services, from flotation tanks and oxygen rooms to hammams and salt rooms.

A night at this luxury resort starts from QAR 1,000 at this time of the year. The Al Messila has one of the most popular spas in Doha, with treatments starting from QAR 600.

Holistic healing experience

Tucked away in the quiet northern coast of Qatar, Zulal Wellness Resort is the region's first full-fledged wellness destination. Designed by Chiva-Som, a global expert in health retreats, Zulal is built on a culturally rooted concept blending Traditional Arabic and Islamic Medicine (TAIM) with holistic wellness programs, all carefully curated for each guest.  

Zulal doesn't offer regular rooms but a complete wellness experience, which reflects the pricing. The basic retreat package costs QAR 1,920 a night per person.
